What makes our Customer Success courses different
Most Customer Success courses hand you definitions and a quiz. Ours are built around the decisions you actually make on the job: onboarding a new account, running a QBR, catching churn early, getting a renewal over the line. You practice the actual work against real scenarios, so you finish able to do the job, not just describe it.
Customer Success course questions, answered
A course teaches a specific set of skills you can put to work straight away, and you earn a certificate of completion for each one. The CCSMP (Certified Customer Success Management Professional) certification is different: it is an assessed professional credential that proves to employers you can do the whole role to a recognised standard, not just that you worked through the material. You do not need the certification to take our courses, and most people start with one – CSM Essentials to break in, or CPD all-access to keep developing – then pursue CCSMP when they are ready.
Everything we build is made for the real work of the role – not definitions and a quiz – so you practise the actual decisions a CSM makes and finish able to do them. There are three ways in, depending on where you are. CSM Essentials is our practical starter course for breaking into Customer Success, with job-ready skills, templates and a dedicated job-hunt track. CPD all-access is our on-demand library – 56 courses today and growing, covering the whole role and the jobs next to it (sales, support, account management, onboarding) – your route to ongoing Continuing Professional Development once you are in the field. And CCSMP is the full professional certification, the credential employers recognise. The catalogue keeps expanding, with four more standalone courses landing through 2026, and all of it is online, self-paced and built on the Practical CSM Framework.
No single course can guarantee a job, and be wary of anyone who promises one. What CSM Essentials gives you is a full “get the right CS job” track built into the course: a step-by-step resume and cover-letter builder, proactive job-hunting tactics, interview preparation, and expert interviews with real SaaS hiring managers and recruiters, plus a mock CSM interview to practise against – so you walk into a real interview with confidence and can handle the take-home case study. It is built specifically for jobseekers and career-changers coming from sales, support, onboarding or technical roles. When you are ready for the credential hiring managers recognise, the next step is the CCSMP certification.
CPD all-access is our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) membership: one subscription that unlocks the whole library – 56 practical courses today (and growing) across the ten areas of the Customer Success role, adding up to 340+ CPD hours of on-demand video, plus tools, templates, articles and podcasts. You earn a certificate for every course you complete, so you build a clear, evidenced record of your development. It is designed for people already in the role and the ones right next to it – sales, support, account management and onboarding – and for certified members it is also how you keep your CCSMP certification current each year (Level 5).
Yes – everything is 100% online and self-paced, so you can start anytime and fit it around your job. Courses are on-demand video with downloadable templates and tools, and each one tells you exactly what is included and roughly how long it takes. There are no live sessions to attend and no deadlines: you move at your own pace and pick up where you left off, on any device.
Yes. You get a certificate of completion for every course you finish – both in CSM Essentials and across the CPD all-access library – so you can evidence your Continuing Professional Development to employers or on LinkedIn. That is separate from the CCSMP certification, which is the assessed professional credential and is earned by passing its assessments rather than by completing courses.
CSM Essentials is a one-off $148, covering the full 12-module course and the built-in job-hunt track. CPD all-access is $187 for 12 months of the whole library – 56 courses and 340+ CPD hours, and still growing, with more standalone courses arriving through 2026. Prices are in US dollars and each option is a single payment with no hidden extras. A monthly payment plan is being introduced soon, so you will be able to spread the cost. If you are aiming for the full credential, see the CCSMP certification for its pricing.
